mHIFU

(EN) Are there any side effects?

(EN)

There may be slight redness for a few hours following the treatment, and it’s not uncommon to have slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to touch for a few weeks, but these are typically mild and they are temporary in nature. There can be other post-procedural effects such as bruising and small areas of numbness but these are less common and, again, temporary.

(EN) Can HIFU replace a face lift?

(EN)

HIFU is an “uplift” not a “face lift.” While it is not a replacement for surgery, it is a viable option for those not ready for a face lift or those looking to prolong the effects of cosmetic surgery.

(EN) Can men have it done?

(EN)

Sure; both women and men globally are receiving HIFU.

(EN) How does Ulthera compare with RF?

(EN)

Both Ulthera and RF offer proprietary nonsurgical modalities to deliver skin tightening and lifting of face and neck. RF uses radiofrequency energy delivery system whereas UltheraSound utilizes external ultrasound energy delivery technology to bring about retraction of deep tissues underneath the skin and stimulation of collagen offering consistent clinical results.

(EN) How is HIFU different from lasers?

(EN)

Lasers typically address issues in the superficial layers of the skin (e.g. fine lines, wrinkles, pigment changes). HIFU addresses the deep skin layer and the foundational layer addressed in cosmetic surgery that lift and lend support to the skin. Therefore, the two technologies are quite complementary!

(EN) How long does the HIFU treatment take? & How long does it last?

(EN)

A treatment typically takes 45-75 minutes and does not involve any downtime. The beauty of face and neck treatment is that it uses the body’s own regenerative response to gently and gradually restore memory to the skin and underlying tissue support. Patients treated with HIFU still have fresh young collagen after a year’s time following the procedure, but skin continues to age.

(EN) How long it takes until I see results?

(EN)

Patients may enjoy some initial effects but the ultimate lifting and toning will take place over 3-4 months, as tired collagen is replaced with new, more elastic collagen. As this collagen-building process continues, further improvements can appear up to 6 months following a procedure.

(EN) How many tratments does it take ?

(EN)

The majority of patients only need one treatment; however, some may benefit from more than one treatment (depending on how much laxity they have and their body’s own biological response to the ultrasound and collagen-building process). Your physician will be able to recommend the right treatment plan for your needs.

(EN) Is HIFU safe?

(EN)

The procedure has been cleared by the FDA after demonstrating safety in clinical studies, and over 200,000 treatments have been performed safely worldwide. In addition, ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in the field of medicine for more than 50 years.

(EN) Is it safe?

(EN)

Ultrasound energy has a proven track record, with use in medical imaging for over 50 years. In addition, the procedure has been cleared by the FDA after demonstrating safety in clinical studies, and tens of thousands of treatments have been performed worldwide without any significant adverse events.

(EN) Is there any downtime?

(EN)

HIFU is an entirely non-invasive procedure and therefore, there is no downtime. You are able to return to your normal activities right away, and there are no special measures you need to take.

(EN) Is treating the lower facw and upper neck off-label since the FDA indication is specially for a brow lift?

(EN)

The treatment reviewed by the FDA was a full face and upper neck treatment; the indication given was specifically for the brow, undoubtedly because there were validated methodologies for measuring the 2 dimensional “lift” effect on the brow. In the FDA clinical study, 9 out of 10 patients had significant lifting of the brow (great for any non-invasive energy based device) and results were seen elsewhere on the face and neck as well.

(EN) What can I expect afterwards?

(EN)

You are able to return to your normal activities right away, and there are no special measures you need to take. Your skin may appear a bit flushed immediately after the treatment, but any redness should disappear within a few hours. It is not uncommon to experience slight swelling for a few days following the procedure or tingling/tenderness to the touch for a few weeks following the procedure, but these are mild and temporary in nature. There is the possibility of other less common post-procedural effects, such as temporary small areas of bruising or numbness.

(EN) What does collagen do? How does HIFU stimulate the creation of collagen?

(EN)

Collagen is a natural protein that gives skin its youthfulness by keeping it firmed, toned and elastic. As we age, collagen loses its elasticity and its ability to stand up to the effects of gravity that pull the skin downward. HIFU jump starts a natural repair process that produces fresh, new collagen.

(EN) What does it feel like?

(EN)

Patients have noted there can be some discomfort while the ultrasound energy is being delivered, but it is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated.

(EN) What does the ultrasound therapy do?

(EN)

HIFU deposits focused ultrasound energy to just the right depth below the skin to achieve a positive effect, all the while leaving the surface of your skin undisturbed, to stimulate  the body’s creation of new collagen heat. A gradual tightening and firming occurs, resulting in a natural lift of the skin over time. HIFU deposits focused ultrasound energy below the surface of the skin to stimulate the body’s creation of new collagen. As a result, skin will actually begin to lift and tone over time.

(EN) What is HIFU?

(EN)

Our faces can tell many stories, and while wrinkles might say ‘experience,’ droopiness can say ‘tired.’ Surgery has always been an option, but now there’s HIFU, a non-surgical ultrasound treatment for counteracting the effects of time and gravity on your skin. HIFU is the only non-invasive treatment that can specifically target the deep foundation below the skin that is addressed in cosmetic surgery without cutting skin surface.

(EN) What problem areas does HIFU target? What results can be expected?

(EN)

HIFU addresses mild to moderate loose or sagging skin on the face and neck and under the chin, specifically by reconditioning and renewing the collagen underlying the skin.  HIFU can lift the brow, which in turn reduces excess skin on the lids, opens up the eyes, and gives a more refreshed look overall.

(EN) Who is a good candidate for HIFU?

(EN)

A good candidate for HIFU is someone with skin that has “relaxed” to the point of looking, and often feeling, less firm. Sagging skin on the eyebrows, on the neck or under the chin, for instance, are often the first signs of “maturing” skin. There is a broad range of people who can benefit from HIFU, but typically those in their thirties and older are candidates. While this is not a replacement for surgery, there are many people who want some lifting, in order to look more refreshed and toned but are not ready for surgery (mentally, financially, or logistically). And then there are younger people who want to “stay ahead of the game” as well as those looking to prolong the effect of surgery.

(EN) Will I feel the ultrasound during the treatment? Does it hurt?

(EN)

You are just feeling tiny amounts of focused ultrasound energy being deposited below the surface of the skin during the treatment. This can be some discomfort while the energy is being delivered, but it is temporary, and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated. Comfort thresholds vary from patient to patient & patients typically leave comfortable and excited about the benefits to come!

3D Fractional

(EN) What does 3D Fractional Radio Frequency Offer?

(EN)

  • Skin Tightening
  • Lifting
  • Firming
  • Rejuvenation

The 3D Radio Frequency energy penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat the skin tissue and the extra cellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded. The localised heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres, and at the same time increases the metabolism of the fibroblasts thereby accelerating the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.

The concentration of collagen fibres and the regeneration of the collagen and elastin deposits, tighten the skin layers creating a smoother, healthier and younger looking skin.

(EN) What is 3D Fractional Radio Frequency?

(EN)

Focus Fractional Radio Frequency is the latest (3rd generation) of Radio Frequency technology and two times more powerful than previous Bi-Polar RF technology.

mCryo2

(EN) Are the results permanent?

(EN)

The fat cells that will be crystallized through the Cryolipolysis procedure are absorbed by the body’s natural processes. Once destroyed the same fat cells cannot grow back as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle.

(EN) Are there any needles with mCryo2?

(EN)

Cryotherapy is completely non invasive. There are no needles required.

(EN) Can all skin types be safely treated with Cryolipo Fat Freezing?

(EN)

Cryolipo fat freezing is safe and for all skin types.

(EN) Can Cryolipo Fat Freezing be combined with other treatments?

(EN)

If there are areas of hardened fat such as the saddle bags that need to be treated, it is recommended that 2 to 4 weeks of traditional Liposculpture procedures such as Radiofrequency(mRF-DermUp) or vacuum massage(mCare) or Ultramassage(mCavi-awa2D) are performed before the Cryolipo fat freezing to soften the fat and improve results. Two weeks after the Cryolipo procedure, one can restart Liposculpture treatments to improve skin tightening and drainage of the treated area. A treated area with Cryolipo Fat freezing can only be retreated with fat freezing 45 days later.

(EN) Do I need to follow a particular kind of diet or exercise program?

(EN)

Nothing important have to be done, no supplements no diet plan no change in exercise habits, no changes in exercise plans. However, Cryolipolysis is not a substitute for taking care of body, and the simple aftercare advice should be followed.

You may feel more motivated to take care of yourself after the treatment, after all it is an investment in your good looks. Combining cryolipolysis with a healthy diet and lifestyle will only further maximize your result. After-care includes advice to increase your water intake, avoid caffeine and other toxins to support your body’s natural processes.

(EN) How does mCryo2 LipoFreeze work?

(EN)

The mCryo2 uses Cryolipolysis technology which is a new non-invasive alternative to invasive Lipo. Cryolipolysis is a slimming technique that based on fat cells more vulnerable to the effects of cold, and can be safely eliminated without harming the skin or the surrounding tissues. So controlled cooling reduces fat bulges such as love handles and tummy fat. Although mCryo2 is a Smart O.S machine that has some primary programs depends on fat layer thickness , patient gender, treat zone which means the type of fat cells include fat, cellulite or mixed one, and treatments protocol which mentioned other devices that may use for slimming simultaneously.

medaria® exclusive LipoFreeze machine, mCryo2, uses 4 plates and a face-gun, unlike most other providers which only use 1 vacuum cup. You also have choice between 2plates-2vacums or 4plates! Each 2 plates together could set in completely different program, therefore mCryo2 is able to treat 2different patients in same time or 2different areas included various types of fat cells simultaneously. This means you receive more value for money in addition to reducing the need to return for more treatments.

For example, mCryo2 can treat both sides of your tummy even with both legs or both love handles during a single session, therefore you would only use your time for a single session for these areas rather than needing to return to have your left side completed then right side, which most providers will charge an additional treatment cost too.

(EN) How large is treatment area in mCryo2?

(EN)

mCryo2 has 4, 7.5*13.5 cm² plates that make a huge 405cm² treatment area for each session. This makes larger treatment areas like the upper, lower abdomen, thighs and flanks same time as well as smaller areas such as the upper arms, bra fat and inner thighs. mCryo2 also has the ability to set 2different treat protocol to each 2plates together, which means treat 2dissimillar fat type-thickness part of body or both side of body together or 2patients same time and etc.

(EN) How long is the session?

(EN)

Each session is up to 180 minutes, depending on the patient gender, type and thickness of fat cells layer, the treatment protocol and how quickly you respond to the cooling technology. Your treatment will set to your individual requirements which will discuss in your pre pretreatment consultation.  No additional time will be needed with mCryo2, you could treat more than one target in each session.

(EN) How many sessions need?

(EN)

3 sessions is sufficient for most people with 10kg overweight in almost all areas. Depending on the fat layer thickness and patient personal goals, fat freezing may be repeated in the same area a session for each 5kg more overweight, but is not always necessary. If you choose that you would like a greater reduction, clinical trial data has shown preferable waiting time between sessions is approx 2-3 weeks. This is to give enough time to measure the effectiveness of the initial treatment.

(EN) Is Fat Freezing safe?

(EN)

Extensive testing shows that cooling only damages fat cells and other tissues at the treatment zone are not affected. The dead fat cells are swept away and discarded by the body’s normal metabolic processes. Because of its non invasive nature; Cryolipo Fat Freezing has considerably fewer risks than other fat reduction procedures. This procedure is considered safe for all patients, and due to vacuum cryo problems have been solved in mCryo2 with plates there is no risks and side effects.

Care should be taken in people with diabetes or certain circulation problems when fat freezing is considered for growths located on their lower legs, ankles, and feet.

(EN) What areas are most commonly treated?

(EN)

The Upper & lower abdomen, the flanks, love handles, saddle bags, upper arms, inner and outer thighs, bra bulges, back fat or flabby knees. This is not a procedure for weight loss or for people who are obese. It works best for people who have isolated pockets of resistant fat. Fat freezing can be used to reduce man boobs but cannot be used to treat female breast tissue or gynecomastia.

(EN) What could be expected after the procedure?

(EN)

After the procedure, the cooled fat cells begin a process called “apoptosis” and start shrink. These damaged fat cells are slowly metabolized over several months by body and removed through the liver. Cold Technology is highly effective and is producing consistent results for local areas of fat like the love-handles. With the Cryo-technology you will start seeing results after 2-6 weeks.

(EN) What does it feel after the session?

(EN)

The beauty of Cryolipolysis is “there is really no side effect”. There is no recovery period nor downtime. There is no recovery period or downtim. there is no redness or bruising after the treatment. Patients should be able to resume normal daily activities without discomfort immediately after the session. Fat freezing also is known as lunch time treatment.

(EN) What does it feel during the session?

(EN)

The treatment is completely pain free and comfortable. A special gel pad is used to protect the skin and help adhesion to the treatment area. The plate being applied has no unusual suction type feeling, means unlike other vacuum types. You are likely to forget it is even attached during the session. We often have clients relax and fall asleep during their treatment.

(EN) What is Cryolipolysis?

(EN)

“Cryo” means cold or freezing, “Lipo” means fat and “Lysis” means to break apart, therefore cryolipolysis means the destruction of fat cells by freezing or cooling. The fat cells that are exposed to the cold will disintegrate in a process of natural cell death also known as “apoptosis”. The lipids that are released in this process are progressively eliminated by natural metabolic activities over the 3 months following the procedure. Regular exercise during the period helps to optimise their elimination. Cryolipolysis affects only fat cells, since they are more sensitive than other cells to cold.

(EN) What is the main difference compared to other procedures?

(EN)

The Cryolipolysis treatment results in a notable and natural reduction of fat tissue, avoiding the traumatic experience of invasive methods (liposuction), and the risk of damage to surrounding tissue. It is different to other non-invasive laser lipo offerings that use lasers (like I-Lipo, Strawberry and Laser Lipo) Cryolipolysis, physically destroys the fat cell, and no course of treatment is required as in these other laser based treatments. No exercise is required for the treatment to get results and the results are permanent.

The results are not as fast or as dramatic as invasive procedures like liposuction or tummy tuck. But Fat Freezing is an effective alternative for those wanting to avoid the higher cost, pain, risk, and recovery time associated with surgery.

(EN) What is the procedure?

(EN)

The mCryo2 plates are placed on the treat area and extract the heat out of the tissue. During the procedure, the mCryo2 LipoFreeze device maintains the temperature between -10°C to 5°C. A cryolipolysis session duration depends on fat layer thickness , patient gender, treat zone which means the type of fat cells (include fat, cellulite or mixed one) and treatment protocols which mentioned other devices that may use for slimming simultaneously. And! All these together will be found just in mCryo2!

(EN) What will the results be?

(EN)

Clinical studies on cryo technology have shown reduction of fat layer thickness is about 24% per session. Results will vary on the individual, the thickness of the fat deposits in each area, personal goals and the lifestyle maintained after treatment. The clients, who follow the simple after-care advice, will get the best results.

(EN) When will the result seen?

(EN)

This depends on the fat thickness and the treat zone. Changes happen over a number of weeks, so some patience is required to see the maximum result. Although some of clients begin to see changes at around 2-3 weeks. 10 weeks being the estimated time for complete result. In clinical trials 10 weeks post treatment, 9 out of 10 people saw an undeniable reduction in the treated area when comparing measurements and photographs.

(EN) Who cant be treated?

(EN)

Cryolipolysis is suitable for most people. – it is not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Those with certain medical conditions or taking certain heavy medications may require the treatment to be adjusted for them, or require a GP’s letter. We will discuss this with you if you fall into these categories.

(EN) Who is the ideal candidate for cryolipolysis?

(EN)

The non-invasive technique is an alternative method for those who wish to avoid the risks and recuperation time inherent to surgical procedures. Best results obtained on patients that have a healthy weight and diet, but wish to get rid of resistant fat bulges.

Cryolipolysis is especially indicated for local fat reduction: The ideal candidates are the person who want to reduce localised fat deposits for instance on the abdomen, flanks, lower back, hips, thighs, upper arms etc. These tend to be areas particularly stubborn to diet and exercise. Although most people are treatable, it is not an overall weight loss solution. Ideal candidates are within or near their ideal body weight range (BMI) which will see the best results. But, it can also be an excellent additional motivation for those embarking on a change in lifestyle. A second treatment may be required for thicker areas of fat.

mMicro Stand N

(EN) Are there any pre-treatment instructions I should follow?

(EN)

The following instructions should be followed prior to receiving a microdermabrasion treatment:

  • Discontinue the use of Accutane/Isotretinoin for one (1) year prior to treatment. And discontinue the use of over the counter Retinol, Glycolic and other Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Salicylic or Beta Hydroxy Acids, or other exfoliation products three (3) days prior to treatment. Fot ten (10) days befor treatment you should discontinue the use of Botox, Collagen, Juvederm, Gortex Restylane, Perlane, Alloderm or other injectibles and Waxing, electrolysis and other hair removal products or methods. It is important to discontinue the use of prescription Retinoid products (Retin-A, Renova, Tretinoin, Avita, Alustra or other brands of Tretinoin), other prescription Retinoid products (Adapalene, Avage, Differin, Tazorac, Tazarotene) thirty (30) days prior to treatment too.
  • If you are prone to cold sores, you will need to contact your physician for antiviral medication such as Famivir, Valtrex or Zovirax to avoid a post treatment breakout. It is recommended you begin prophylaxis two (2) days prior to treatment and continue for five (5) days post treatment.

(EN) Are there any risks or side effects?

(EN) There are virtually no side effects and it is risk-free. It can use for all types and colors of skin. Microdermabrasion is non-invasive and mild, so you have nothing to worry about.

(EN) Are there skin problems where microdermabrasion should not be used?

(EN) Microdermabrasion is not recommended for people with the following conditions:
a. active bacterial, viral or fungal skin infections (such as cold sores, shingles, impetigo, cellulitis, folliculitis)
b. if you suffer from any open skin lesions or burns
c. if you have extensive telangiectasia (broken capillaries) or rosacea you should not consider microdermabrasion. The microdermabrasion exfoliation process worsens rosacea symptoms (redness, itchiness, flaking). You should consider an IPL skin rejuvenation treatment instead.
d. history of problems with healing and excessive scarring (keloids)
e. you should not undergo a microdermabrasion procedure if you have had a recent facelift. You also need to wait at least ten (10) days post Botox or filler injections into your skin.
f. you should not undergo a microdermabrasion procedure if you have any immune system deficiencies or suffer from HIV and AIDS, Hepatitis C, Lupus or skin cancer.

(EN) Can microdermabrasion help reduce large pores?

(EN) Yes. Microdermabrasion stimulates collagen production which is why it works on large pores. The vacuum function sucks out hardened oil, dust and other dirt, which may clog your pores. This way, the oil in the glands can again reach the surface of your skin and your pores can return to their natural shape and size. It cleans the pores and hinders any future breakouts if used on a regular basis.

(EN) Does microdermabrasion benefit make up application?

(EN)

Microdermabrasion makes makeup application look fabulous! Microdermabrasion smooths the skin by gently “sanding” the surface of the skin, as we would sand a piece of wood prior to painting it. Since the skin underneath the makeup is smooth and glowing you will notice your foundation does not look dull or ashy because microdermabrasion will have sanded the dead skin off. Your make up application will look clean, fresh and radiant!

(EN) How exactly does microdermabrasion function?

(EN) This pain free procedure involves “sanding” the top layer of the skin (epidermis) with a fine mist of crystals and a vacuum to remove dead skin cells, dirt and grime nestled in the pores all while smoothing the skin to reveal healthier looking skin. This treatment stimulates new collagen production which helps your skin rejuvenate faster than normal, resulting in a reduction of fine lines, skin texture refinement, age and sun spots.

(EN) How many treatments will I need and how frequently should they be scheduled?

(EN)

The treatment schedule depends on the condition of each person: therefore microdermabrasion treatment will be scheduled according to individual needs. Of course, generally 4-6 sessions in 10-14 days apart are required for most people to achieve optimal results.

(EN) How much time should have been set for each treatment?

(EN) Commonly each session takes about 30 minutes to complete and but somewhen it based on the skin problem you need to be solved.

(EN) Is it safe for all skin types?

(EN)

Microdermabrasion is safe on all skin colors and types. If you are sensitive to chemical peels, microdermabrasion is a particularly good alternative. If you have sensitive skin, the machine can be lowered in suction and crystal flow to accommodate your sensitivity.

(EN) Is microdermabrasion suitable for me?

(EN)

Microdermabrasion works on all skin types and colors, men and wemen, makes cleaner looking radiant skin. If your goal is to get rid of superficial acne scars, aging skin, blackheads, pox marks from acne, chicken pox scars, blotchy skin, large pores, age spots, sun spots, fine wrinkles and uneven skin tone and texture, you are a perfect candidate for using microdermabrasion.

(EN) Should I use any aftercare products following the procedure?

(EN)

You will be given a set of aftercare instructions after your first procedure and a series of products will be recommended to you to aid skin renewal process. You will be required to wear a titanium dioxide/zinc oxide sunscreen with a minimum SPF 15 every day depending on the season of year.

(EN) What could be expected after the treatment?

(EN) With microdermabrasion, there is a short down time. Skin is temporarily pink but fully recovers within 24 hours. It doesn’t require surgery or anesthetics. That may help people who cannot take “down time” for healing.

(EN) What is microdermabrasion?

(EN)

Microdermabrasion, popularly known as “microderm” is kind of skin polishing, a safe-simple office cosmetic procedure that is not a chemical, not a laser, and not a surgical procedure. In this procedure the skin will “sanded” with high quality fine aluminum oxide crystals named “corundum”, a colorless natural formed crystal, safe as possible, to look radiant and more smooth.

(EN) What should I expect the days following the microdermabrasion treatment?

(EN)

During the first 24 hours, your skin may feel dry, or slightly pink similarly to effects of a mild wind or sunburn which goes away after a few hours. Be sure to:

  • apply moisturizer during the first few days
  • avoid sun exposure for at least a week after the treatment
  • do not use any peeling products for the next 3-4 days following treatment (Any products containing Retinol, Glycolic, Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Salicylic or Beta Hydroxy Acids).
  • avoid full-face make up (liquid foundation or pressed powder) for 1-2 days after treatment.

(EN) What should I expect to feel immediately after the treatment?

(EN)

After the treatment the skin may experience an itching and burning sensation. The soothing balm’s key ingredients are Hydrolyzed Milk Protein (an emollient and moisturizer), Olive Fruit Oil (a gentle emollient and a powerful antioxidant) and Wheat Germ Oil (an antioxidant source of vitamin E that helps with aging skin and the formation of healthy cells, tissue and muscle). Soy Isoflavones and Chasteberry in the soothing balm rebuild collagen for skin that feels softer, younger and more luscious!

(EN) When will microdermabrasion results become visible?

(EN)

Immediate, as you will notice the day of the treatment that your skin is looking cleaner and more polished. A nice, clean, smooth feeling is apparent directly after the session. Multiple treatments will provide more drastic results.

(EN) Where can microdermabrasion be done on the body?

(EN) This treatment can be done anywhere on the body where you want smoother, younger looking skin, such as hands, arms, neck, back or enywhere you have surgical scars.

(EN) Will I experience any discomfort during treatment?

(EN) The microdermabrasion treatment is painless. You will feel the suction from the vacuum and the fine crystals passing through your skin, but there is no need for topical anaesthetics or painkillers.

mCavi awa2D

(EN) Can I target more than one area (like stomach & back)?

(EN)

It’s better focussing on one area at a time for optimum results when you use mCavi alone and there is no treatment combination with other medaria® products, which is why our 5-15 session passes allow you to have at least a 3 sessions in each area for optimum results.

You can do 2 areas in a one hour session, but it is better to book a separate session for each area.

(EN) Does mCavi awa2D have a new technology?

(EN)

The process is instant, results will be seen usually after one or two sessions. 5-15 sessions, with interval at least 7-15 days apart and combined with lots of water consumption and a healthy diet and exercise will be show optimum results.

mCavi’s slimming procedure is very unique when it combines with other medaria® product such as mCare(vacuum rolling process). The more sessions the greater all these benefits are amplified.

(EN) How does Ultrasonic Cavitation work?

(EN)

The mCavi awa2D uses sound waves/frequencies to form bubbles in the tissues where the fat cells are located and disrupt the fat cell walls, which causes the fat cells to “leak” their contents into the fluid spaces of your body. The bubble expands and is immediately compressed afterwards. The temperature in the fluid around the fat cells increases due to sudden variation in pressure and the bubble implodes. This implosion damages the fat cells, reducing the localized adiposity. Therefore, your lymph system picks up this waste material (the loose fat) and begins circulating it through your body until it can be processed by the liver and eliminated with sweat, urine and feces.

The results are visibly noticeable immediately, however the entire process can take several days, and you will continue to experience results during this time. Thanks to the big, circular, ergonomic hand-piece that is placed on the skin precisely on the area that is to be treated, with maximum efficiency and minimum side effect.

(EN) How long does it take to get results?

(EN)

The process is instant, you usually see results after just one session. Typically results are between 2-7cm after session one. This obviously depends on how much fat you have to lose and your body size in problematic areas. Satisfactory results are in 5-15 sessions and we have special slim-offer packages for this.

(EN) How long does it take?

(EN)

Each Ultrasound Cavitation treatment takes about 30 minutes dependent on the area to be treated.

(EN) How many total Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments will I need?

(EN)

For answering to this question needs many various factors should be considered. For example, you need to consider how much fat you want to eliminate, how long the fat has been there, how dense the fat is, etc. Typically, a post-pregnancy patient wishing to eliminate a “muffin-top” leftover from childbirth may need 3-5 abdominal treatments, while a person who has been moderately obese for several years may need 2 times as many. With mCavi awa2D treatments, your results will see after 2-4 treatments per area, depending on the density of the fat.

(EN) How much of my body is treated during each appointment?

(EN)

A single 20-30minutes treatment session can cover the size of your belly, your inner/front or outer/back thighs, your buttocks or your back. Smaller areas, such as a double chin and upper arm flab, can be treated together.

(EN) How much result can I expect after each treatment?

(EN)

Results with Ultrasonic Cavitation will vary depending on how long the fat has existed, how dense it is, how hydrated you are, how well your lymph is circulating, etc. Immature, light and “fluffy” fat is much easier to eliminate than mature, dense fat, and thin lymph fluid will yield more rapid results than thick, viscous fluid. Statistically, you can expect up to 1-2″ loss after the first treatment and up to 1/4″ – 2″ after each subsequent treatment. With Ultrasonic Slimming Treatments, you can expect up to 2-4″ reduction after one treatment, and up to 6-10″ reduction after a series of 3-5 treatments.

(EN) How much time do I need to take off work for recovery?

(EN)

There is absolutely no pain, and no recovery time after treatments! The treatment is warm, soothing and pleasant – much like a hot stone massage. You can receive a treatment during your lunch hour and then drive yourself back to work immediately afterward.

(EN) How often can/should I receive Ultrasonic Cavitation or Ultrasonic Slimming treatments?

(EN)

You can safely receive Ultrasonic Cavitation treatments once in 7-15 days. Of course, the results will be faster and more permanent if you receive continual treatments in regular sessions.

(EN) How quickly will I begin to see results?

(EN)

You should notice a measurable difference immediately after your first treatment, with the most dramatic difference observable 72 hours after each treatment.

(EN) Is this Ultrasound Cavitation safe?

(EN)

The procedure is entirely non invasive, painful or dangerous to the body. It does NOT involve surgery, there is no need for anaesthetic, a hospital stay or time off work. It is safe, involves no radiation or risk, that can be applied to anyone, but a medical examination should be carried out along with a report of the complete medical history.

Absolute or relative depending on the individual case, patients with kidney failure, liver failure, carrying a pacemaker or other electronic devices, pregnancy, lactation, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia, should avoid this procedure.

(EN) What are the potential side-effects?

(EN)

A: While side-effects are rarely reported, they occur occasionally, and usually involve a slight redness or irritation of the skin that resolves within a few hours. There is also a potential to feel an increase in energy, since the body will naturally attempt to use some of energy reserves released from the fat. Independent studies have shown a decrease in cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which seem to be further enhanced with the addition of dietary supplements.

(EN) What is Ultrasound Fat Cavitation?

(EN)

Ultrasound Liposuction (ultrasonic cavitation) is a new, revolutionary fat removal technique using targeted Ultrasound waves that melt fat into fatty acids safely and allow them to be processed by the normal body’s process.

(EN) Who can get Ultrasonic Cavitation and Ultrasonic Slimming treatments?

(EN)

The best candidates for Ultrasonic fat removal are healthy men and women who are moderately overweight, wishing to lose between 5-100 pounds (calculate your ideal weight here, and your BMI here.) You are NOT a good candidate if you are pregnant or nursing, taking anticoagulants, if you have a pacemaker or metal implants or if you have keloids, recent surgeries or severe health conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer or tumors, epilepsy, abnormally high or low blood pressure, hemophilia, thromboisis, phlebitis, turberculosis, current infection or infectious disease, immune deficiencies or a compromised lymph system. If you have any doubt as to whether you are healthy enough to receive treatments, you should consult with your physician first.

(EN) Why should I get Ultrasonic Cavitation?

(EN)

Traditional weight loss methods such as dieting, leave your body feeling like it’s starving, which causes the body to go into conservation mode, so your metabolism slows down and your body starts using it’s energy more efficiently, making it harder for you to shed fat and pounds. When the diet is over and the weight starts creeping back on, your body will pack on a few extra pounds to store up for the next time it anticipates a famine. By contrast, Ultrasonic Cavitation doesn’t cause the body to “panic”, and it won’t fight against you by working so hard to hold on to it’s fat reserves. The fat is eliminated naturally, being processed by your body’s own filtration system. Compared to surgical methods (gastric bypass, lap band, liposuction, etc), there is no scarring, no bleeding, no risk of infection, no pain, no down-time for recovery and, in most cases, Ultrasonic Cavitation is much more affordable. Compared to fat-freezing and laser fat removal procedures (such as iLipo, Zerona and SmartLipo), the results are more immediate and dramatic and there is absolutely no pain or down-time.

Other reasons: Obesity increases physical stress and stress-related pain, takes up to 10 years off your life expectancy, is the leading cause of cardiovascular disease and is associated with type 1 diabetes (the most common type.) Obesity lowers your self-esteem, motivation and overall productivity, which can result in laziness, depression, lack of career success and more obesity. Achieving an appropriate level of body fat will result in better health, fewer aches & pains, less stress, better quality sleep, more energy, fewer health-related expenses, better self-esteem, less need for medical treatment and prescription drugs, better moods, healthier relationships and more satisfying sex.

(EN) Will I end up with saggy skin if I lose a lot of weight?

(EN)

Ultrasonic Cavitation has a slight firming and tightening effect on the skin and muscle tissue, so even if you have sagging skin resulting from earlier weight loss efforts, ultrasound cavitation will help. Of course, actual results will vary. Ultrasonic Slimming treatments are much more profoundly tightening, but with temporary results.

mIPL

(EN) Are there any factors that might affect treatment?

(EN)

Certain factors may make your body more sensitive to light, which don’t exclude clients from treatments but must be disclosed during the consultation. Certain medications such as muscle relaxants, anti-depressants, anti-cancer drugs, acne medications and topical creams containing Retin-A, will have an effect on treatment parameters. Test patches prior to treatment ensure safe and effective results for any client situation.

(EN) Are there any side effects of treatment or special post treatment instructions?

(EN)

For best results, active tanning and use of artificial tanning products should be discontinued prior to and during treatments. After treatment, use Sunblock (SPF25+) on the treatment area. You can shave during treatments, but do not wax or tweeze the hair, as this will remove the target (the bulb).

Subsequent to treatments you may experience some redness and/or warmth at the treatment site, which is normal and can be cooled with cold wet compresses if desired. It is recommended to avoid vigorous exercise, perfumed deodorants, heavily chlorinated pools and / or hot whirlpool baths, saunas, etc. for 12 – 24 hours subsequent to treatments.

(EN) Can Dark Skins Be Treated?

(EN)

Light produced by laser and by IPL is absorbed by the color pigment, melanin, which is present in our hair and skin.  Caution is required when treating people with dark skins, Asian skins and some other skins which tan very easily.  Hyper-pigmentation or blanching of the skin is likely to occur if there is too much melanin present in the skin.  It is possible to treat medium to medium/dark skins on a low intensity.  The consultation process and a test patch, will determine whether each individual can be treated.  Strict guidelines must be adhered to, when treating darker skinned people, using only low levels of intensity at each session, and therefore more treatments will be needed to achieve a result.  Skins such as Negroid, Melanesian and some darker Indian skins are not treatable – for both skin rejuvenation and for hair removal.  Electrolysis is an option for these people, but it too, must be administered with caution, on a low intensity, due to the possiblility of hyperpigmentation or blanching.

(EN) Can I combine photo-rejuvenation with chemical peels/microdermabrasion, and if so, at what intervals?

(EN)

Yes. Pulsed light treatments are a natural compliment to the microdermabrasion process. In the case of combining these two treatments, microdermabrasion should be done two weeks prior to the pulsed light treatment. The pulsed light treatment can then be repeated at the recommended interval dependent on your skin type, if desired. You should remain out of the sun for a minimum of six weeks prior to combining these two treatments.

(EN) Can I have IPL treatments when I'm menstruating?

(EN)

In some cases, clients within their menstrual cycle are more sensitive to the sensation of intense pulsed light. It is recommended to test patch on significantly lower energy settings and/or reschedule the client subsequent to completion of their cycle prior to performing the pulsed light treatments.

(EN) Can I remove hair between treatments?

(EN)

This is an excellent question and the answer is the same as it is for electrolysis. You definitely cannot tweeze or wax. If you tweeze or wax between treatments, you physically remove the target hence reduce the Intense Pulsed Light’s ability to destroy it (you can’t destroy what isn’t there).

You can however shave between treatments as the objective is to interact with the matrix or bulb and shaft of the hair, which is untouched by shaving. Ideally large body areas should be shaved prior to coming to the clinic for an IPL treatment to cut down on the time of treatment, as surface hair must be removed prior to the treatment.

(EN) Can pulsed light be used to treat stretch marks?

(EN)

Yes. Stretch marks can be treated with intense pulsed light. The protocol would be similar to that used to perform a photo-rejuvenation procedure considering the skin type of the patient. As a general rule, lower body areas typically require less energy to accomplish similar treatment objectives as higher body areas .

(EN) Can pulsed light treatments stimulate hair growth?

(EN)

It has been determined that in a small amount of the population (<10%) there is a possibility that pulsed light treatments can stimulate dormant hair cells to produce an active follicle of hair. In these rare cases, you can simply remove the dormant follicle in a subsequent session as it grows into the anagen or active growth phase.

(EN) Can you perform IPL treatments on me if I'm taking fertility pills?

(EN)

Some fertility pills contain an anti-depressant substance which will make the client more sensitive to pulsed light treatments, hence it is recommended that clients be re-scheduled at a time when they are no longer taking fertility pills.

(EN) Can you treat my raised moles that contain a hair?

(EN)

It is not recommended to treat raised moles with hair growth, as the hair will likely be removed however the mole may lose pigment, hence be difficult to identify.

(EN) Can you treat my warts?

(EN)

Yes. The objective in treating warts with pulsed light is to cut off the blood supply to the wart and to treat the perimeter of the wart where the virus resides. It will require multiple treatments (four to six) over approximately two months.

(EN) Can you treat the hair on my back where I have a tattoo?

(EN)

There is a possibility that the hair removal hand-piece may also cause some removal of pigment and potentially fade the tattoo. Hence it is not recommended to remove hair on areas which are also tattooed, unless informed consent clearly identifying the potential to fade or completely remove portions of the tattoo is authorized by you, the client.

(EN) How does IPL permanent hair reduction work?

(EN)

A broad spectrum of light is transmitted through a transparent handpiece tip which is gently placed over the skin. Cut-off filters in the handpiece change the range of wavelengths, optimizing it for different applications and skin types which is programmed in Smart O.S mIPL.

Intense Pulsed Light targets the colour pigment (melanin) in the hairs. Therefore white hairs can not be treated. Dark hairs on fair skin have the best and quickest results. Fair hairs will require extra treatments with lesser results. Caution is required when treating hairs on darker skins; this is explained below and would be discussed more fully during your consultation.

Hairs grow in constant cycles:  Firstly hairs are actively growing, then they become dormant (resting), and finally they loosen and shed, only to be replaced by more new, actively growing hairs.

Only hair follicles in the active growth stage are disabled by IPL treatments. Hairs in the dormant stage of the growth cycle normally remain anchored in the follicles for weeks or months, depending on their location, but their follicles and associated hair germination cells are not disabled by IPL treatments.  These follicles will be treated in subsequent sessions.   This is why you need repeated sessions.  Hair growth becomes sparser with each session.   All treated hairs should shed within about two weeks.

(EN) How does Skin Rejuvenation happen?

(EN)

  • Skin Tone and Re-texture
  • Pigmentation
  • Vascular Lesions
  • Acne & Rosacea

Skin Rejuvenation is also known as photo-rejuvenation

  • the non-invasive, non surgical face lift.

IPL is absorbed by color particles which are present in blood and in melanin. The mIPL also treats the propioni-bacterium in acne and protein present in cells which produce collagen. Pigmentation marks slowly come to the skin’s surface and are shed naturally. Vascular lesions dissipate into the lymphatic system for excretion, just as bruises do. Enlarged pores, minor pitting and scarring diminish and fade. Fine lines and wrinkles are softened and may virtually disappear. Collagen & elastin production increases.

(EN) How long should I be off of photo-sensitive drugs prior to pulsed light treatments?

(EN)

Ideally it is recommended that you stop taking photo-sensitive drugs four weeks prior to receiving any pulsed light treatment, but dependent on the degree of photosensitivity, in some cases this period of time can be less.

(EN) How many treatments will I require?

(EN)

Hair grows in three cycles called Anagen, Catagen, and Telogen. IPL and laser technology most effectively interacts with hair in the Anagen (or active growth) phase when the hair is highest in pigment. Hence multiple treatments are required to accomplish permanent hair reduction. On average approximately 20% reduction will be noticed in the initial treatment and as much as 95% reduction can be realized in four to six treatments. Remember after the treatments the reduction will be permanent!

(EN) How often will I need treatments?

(EN)

a. PERMANENT HAIR REDUCTION

A course of 5 to 10 treatments is usually required to treat hairs at all stages of the hair growth cycle, at 3 to 6 week intervals; which varies depending on hair type and color, and the location being treated. Fair hairs will require extra treatments. White hairs can not be treated.

A maintenance session may be necessary from time to time, due to the development of new hair growth appearing, as our hormonal balance continues to change with age, or due to the influence of stress, illness, disease and drugs i.e; steroids or contraceptive pills.

b. SKIN REJUVENATION:

It is difficult to predict the number of sessions required, as it depends on the nature of the lesions to be treated and their size, plus the client’s skin type, condition and color.  Some conditions may require maintenance treatments from time to time. Different types of skin rejuvenation require different numbers of treatments.

Some guids

SKIN TONE & RE-TEXTURE:

Fine lines & wrinkles, enlarged pores, minor pitting & scarring, etc; 2-4 treatments usually recommended, at 4-6 week intervals.

VASCULAR LESIONS:

Facial redness, broken capillaries, spider veins, etc; 2-6 treatments usually recommended, at 2-6 week intervals.

PIGMENTATION MARKS:

Freckles, sun spots, flat birthmarks, etc; 2-8 treatments usually recommended, at 4-6 week intervals.

ROSACEA AND ACNE:

Results are profound, but these hormonal conditions may return. 2-6 treatments usually recommended, at 1-3 week intervals.

(EN) How should the treatment area look immediately after treatment?

(EN)

Acceptable treatment responses include:

  • Darkening of pigmented lesions may occur within a few minutes and/or up to a few hours subsequent to treatments. Clinically effective treatments will cause pigmented lesions to darken prior to drying out and sloughing off which may take several days to two weeks.
  • Immediate disappearance of small facial Telangiectasia – small vessels commonly referred to as ‘spider veins’ typically found on the side of the nose or upper cheek area may disappear immediately subsequent to the treatment. This will depend largely on the size (diameter) and depth of the vessel.

(EN) What are the actual treatments like?

(EN)

In a simple phrase: ‘FAST AND EASY’. Preparation for the IPL treatment is minimal, as body hair does not have to be grown out prior to the treatment. The hand-piece utilized for the treatment covers larger body areas than alternative methods. Thus minimizing the time of the treatment, and the active cooling integrated within the hand-piece provides for additional comfort.

The sensation is often referred to as a gentle ‘snap’ with minimal to no sensation subsequent to the treatment. In some cases, dependent on the procedure, skin type, and the treatment area, clients experience some mild redness and tenderness in the area, which does not interfere with normal activities and usually subsides within a day.

(EN) What are the benefits of IPL?

(EN)

a. Patient Comfort / Patient Acceptance – Waxing, electrolysis, and even shaving can be cumbersome treatments, which lead to discomfort and skin irritation. Electrolysis and waxing in particular can be quite painful and patient acceptance for repeat procedures can be limited by this experience. IPL treatments are significantly more comfortable with no skin irritation. The IPL supports active cooling in the hand-pieces, which keeps the surface of the skin comfortable throughout the procedures.

b. PERMANENT Hair Reduction – Based on the absorption of specific wavelengths of light energy which are transformed into heat below the surface of the skin, Intense Pulsed Light compromises the body’s ability to re-grow hair in the treated area. Permanent and long-lasting results!

c. Fast and Convenient Treatments – The large surface area covered by the specialized IPL hand-pieces enables fast and effective treatments. With no post-treatment discomfort, it’s easy to receive treatments at lunch and then return to the office that afternoon. A full set of legs could be treated in less than 1 hour, and treatments are effective without the requirement to have hair grow out before the treatment, meaning you can shave right up until your IPL session.

(EN) What happens immediately after a treatment?

(EN)

IPL works in a minimally invasive manner to thermally destroy the hair. This is what makes the procedure so fast and comfortable. Two or three days after the treatment, stubble may reappear. This is NOT new hair growth, but simply the body shedding the thermally damaged hair; including the bulb.

When this hair is completely shed, it’s time for your next treatment (typically four to six weeks). As IPL penetrates through the skin right to the bulb of the hair, it’s still OK to shave between treatments if you like, but DON’T tweeze or wax, as that will remove the target.

(EN) What is IPL?

(EN)

Intense Pulsed Light (abbreviated IPL) describes the use of intense pulses of non-coherent light distributed over a range of wavelengths; from 515nm to 1200nm. Intense Pulsed Light is a technology where light is converted into heat energy. Treatments are like a very powerful camera flash lamp being held against your skin. The selected light waves target chromophores(color pigments) such as melanin in brown spots and freckles; and such as hemoglobin in broken or diffused blood vessels. The light waves can also target specific protein molecules in acne bacteria and in collagen.  IPL treats all conditions without disruption to the skin’s surface. This enables effective treatment of a broad spectrum of conditions, including vascular and pigmented lesions, skin photoaging treatments and hair removal.

(EN) What is the difference between IPL and Laser?

(EN)

Fundamentally they have a similar mechanism of action (photo-thermal), however two significant benefits of IPL are: more speed and less sensation. Larger hand-pieces means IPL technology can perform procedures up to ten times faster than traditional lasers and with active cooling in the hand-pieces, the sensation of IPL is far less intense.

The IPL is an adaptation of the laser, more suited to the beauty industry.  The biggest difference between laser and IPL, as far as treatment is concerned, is the coverage. The laser beam is very narrow, only covering a small spot at a time, while IPL coverage is several times the area, and therefore treatments are much quicker.

Lasers produce light from one specific wavelength, or color, for a very specific target.  The light emitted from the IPL is composed of a spectrum of colors from different wavelengths, enabling selective photo-absorption (light absorption) to different targets.  In other words, using the IPL is like using a group of lasers in a single treatment.

(EN) What is the treatment Important Before Care?

(EN)

Sun exposure and tanning:

You can NOT be treated if you have had ultra violet (UV) exposure from the sun or sun beds within the past 4 to 6 weeks.  Therefore prior to your treatments you must cover well with clothing and hats and sun block to prevent extra activity of the melanin cells in your skin.  Melanin cells are responsible for tanning. Your tan slowly ‘wears off’ as those cells reach the surface of your skin in the normal skin- shedding activity, known as skin renewal.

Fake tans stain the outer skin cells, and this color will intensify the IPL heat at the surface of the skin, therefore we cannot treat with IPL for at least two weeks after a fake tan application.

Waxing, plucking, threading:

For hair removal treatments, allow the hair to grow just a little, ( 2 mm is enough) immediately prior to your treatment day. It is advisable to shave between appointments, as waxing or plucking would remove the hairs that we are hoping to target in your next session.

<<SHAVING DOES NOT CAUSE FUTURE HAIR GROWTH TO GROW MORE RAPIDLY OR TO BECOME COARSER.>>  Only the actual shaved hairs will become coarser, but they will shed, and new growth will be normal.

Bleach or depilatory creams:

These products should not be used for at least one week before IPL treatments.

(EN) What special instructions are there for prior to and after treatments?

(EN)

Prior to treatment:

a.Remove all make-up and creams from the treatment site.

b.Ideally pre-shave the treatment area for hair removal.

c.Discontinue sun bed use and ‘fake tanning’ products at least four (4) weeks prior to treatment.

d.Avoid sun tanning four weeks prior to / and between treatments and allow your tan to fade so that skin pigment is ‘normal’ prior to the first treatment.

e.Do not wax or tweeze treatment site prior to hair removal treatment (shaving OK)

After Treatment(s):

a.Limit your sun exposure as much as possible subsequent to treatment.

b.Use a high SPF factor sunscreen when exposed to the sun between / and after treatments.

c.Cool any areas which remain warm after treatment with cooling aloe vera gels, cold compresses or frozen gel packs.

d.Discontinue sun bed use and ‘fake tanning’ products.

e.Do not wax or tweeze treatment site between hair removal treatments.

f.Avoid extremely hot baths, whirlpools, saunas, or heavily chlorinated swimming pools for 12 – 24 hours subsequent to treatments.

g.Avoid strong deodorants subsequent to hair reduction treatment of the underarms.

h.Avoid vigorous exercise for 12 – 24 hours subsequent to treatments.

(EN) Why is my hair still growing?

(EN)

This is a common comment for new users of intense pulsed light systems. Subsequent to administering a pulsed light treatment, the body requires time to shed the hair which had been thermally destroyed. It may take eight to ten days on some people and perhaps two to three weeks on others to fully shed the thermally damaged hair.

Even though it appears as though hair continues to grow, it is actually the body shedding the hair entirely, and over time the treated hair will grow out of the skin. This should not be mistaken for continued hair growth.

(EN) How long should I stay out of the sun prior to and after IPL treatments?

(EN)

It is recommended for you to be out of the sun 3 weeks prior to treatment or for the appropriate timeframe for their skin to return to their natural colour. It is also recommended that you do not tan or use tanning products in the timeframe between a prescribed series of pulsed light treatments as overactive melanin could cause a pigmentation effect.

(EN) How will I look after the treatment?

(EN)

Immediate Response:

In most cases there is no visible reaction and you would be expected to be able to return to work and resume your normal activities immediately after your appointment.  However, IPL causes heat in the target tissues; therefore it is quite acceptable for the area to be slightly reddened immediately after treatment, but this  would normally dissipate within half an hour.  It is possible for the skin to appear slightly red for a couple of hours and up to 24 hours.

(EN) Is it painful?

(EN)

Some treatments have little or no sensation at all, but for other treatments, clients may feel a slight sting, similar to the flick of a rubber band against your skin.  It is certainly not unbearable, and we can always reduce the intensity if you feel the need.  Immediately after some treatments you may feel a mild heat for a few minutes, or a couple of hours, but after most treatments you will feel next to nothing at all.

(EN) Who is a candidate for treatment?

(EN)

Men, women and children … basically anyone can be treated with an IPL. Treatments are customized according to your skin type, hair colour and treatment area. Treatments are effective on all skin types and hair colours. Any body part including underarms, legs, back, face, neck, bikini … etc can be treated. Special protection is required when working closely around the eyes.

mCare

(EN) Are there any side effects

(EN)

Minor, temporary bruising may occur.

(EN) Can diet and exercise eliminate cellulite?

(EN)

Cellulite occurs in the subcutaneous fat layer, which responds mainly to hormones and minimally to diet and exercise. Therefore, this approach is not an effective means for cellulite reduction.

(EN) Can I have Vacuum Rolling treatments if I'm planning to have liposuction?

(EN)

Yes! Vacuum Rolling is recommended by many plastic surgeons before and after liposuction (especially after). Vacuum Rolling counteracts the rippling and hard fat deposits that occur with liposuction.

(EN) Can I receive treatments if I am pregnant?

(EN)

No correlation has been found between Vacuum Rolling and complications in pregnancy. However, it is recommended that during pregnancy you do NOT receive treatments, due to the substantial release of toxins and wastes that occur during treatment.

(EN) Can liposuction remove or reduce the appearance of cellulite?

(EN)

Liposuction is the most effective surgical procedure for body contouring, involving the removal of fat from deep fat layers. Liposuction is not typically performed in the subcutaneous fat layer, due to swelling, scarring, and bruising, and therefore, is not the treatment of choice for cellulite.

(EN) Does this replace exercise?

(EN)

No. In fact, it is highly recommended that you add diet and exercise to your health regimen while undergoing Vacuum Rolling treatments. In most cases, this improves results.

(EN) Does this treatment work on men also?

(EN)

Definitely. Most men do not have cellulite but still benefit from body shaping. Clinical experience has shown excellent results for problem areas such as “back, abdomen and love handles” and loose pectoral tissue.

(EN) Does Vacuum Rolling help me lose weight?

(EN)

No, the mCare has not been proven to help with weight loss. The FDA allows the following claims: to temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite, to reduce circumferential body measure in cellulite-treated areas, to improve blood circulation, and to relieve muscle aches, pains, soreness and spasm. It is not a weight-loss device. In fact, the results of Vacuum Rolling will likely be enhanced if you are at your ideal body weight.

(EN) How long are the sessions and how often do I need to be treated?

(EN)

Vacuum Rolling treatments are 30-45 minutes in duration, twice a week. The average women will need 6-12 sessions to achieve optimal results. If you are simultaneously in the process of losing a significant amount of weight or if you have a long-term problematic cellulite condition, one session less per week is recommended. More than these will not bring faster results.

During your consultation your doctor or therapist will be able to determine approximately how many sessions you will need. Some clients may need dditional treatments depending upon the severity of their cellulite, their weight, and lifestyle habits and regular monthly treatments are needed to maintain and improve results.

(EN) How long does the results last? Is it permanent?

(EN)

Results last for several months up to a few years, depending on age, lifestyle, and

hormonal changes. After your initial course of treatments, you may find that a

‘maintenance schedule’ of one or two treatments per month is sufficient to maintain your results. Again this will vary from patient to patient. A healthy diet and lifestyle will help to stop the return of cellulite, and certainly won’t do you any harm in the process!

(EN) Is it approved by the FDA?

(EN)

In fact it is the “ONLY cellulite treatment” that is approved by the FDA. In the past 12 years, thousands of case studies from around the world have continued to demonstrate the FDA-approved manufacturer’s statement that Vacuum Rolling causes temporary reduction in the appearance of cellulite.

(EN) Is Vacuum Rolling safe? Are there any side effects?

(EN)

There are virtually no side effects from Vacuum Rolling. It is safe for almost everyone. On occasion some mild bruising is possible. A health questionnaire with health guidelines assures your safety. We do not recommend Vacuum Rolling for pregnant women. Anyone with a history of cancer or thrombophlebitis will require medical clearance.

(EN) What can I do to improve my Vacuum Rolling results?

(EN)

A good diet and exercise routine will help speed up and improve your results. It is extremely important that you drink a lot of water when doing Vacuum Rolling so that

toxins can be flushed out of your system.

(EN) What is Cellulite

(EN)

Cellulite is a common term used to describe superficial pockets of trapped fat, which cause uneven dimpling or “orange peel” skin. It appears in 90% of post-adolescent women and is rarely seen in men. Common but not exclusive areas where cellulite is found, are the thighs, buttocks, and the abdomen. Contrary to popular belief, cellulite is not related to obesity, since it occurs in overweight, normal, and thin women.

(EN) What is the difference between Vacuum Rolling and liposuction? Can it be used instead of liposuction?

(EN)

Vacuum Rolling, does not involve breaking through the skin in any way. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that involves risk and complications. Vacuum Rolling is useful for cellulite reduction, and body contouring to help improve your appearance. Some people try Vacuum Rolling first and then choose to wait to receive liposuction. Some choose to receive both as part of a duel treatment to their problem. Vacuum Rolling is being used and studied by some of the most well known practitioners of liposuction in the world.

(EN) What will I feel afterward?
