    • What is microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion, popularly known as “microderm” is kind of skin polishing, a safe-simple office cosmetic procedure that is not a chemical, not a laser, and not a surgical procedure. In this procedure the skin will “sanded” with high quality fine aluminum oxide crystals named “corundum”, a colorless natural formed crystal, safe as possible, to look radiant and more smooth.

  • mIPL
    • What is the difference between IPL and Laser?

Fundamentally they have a similar mechanism of action (photo-thermal), however two significant benefits of IPL are: more speed and less sensation. Larger hand-pieces means IPL technology can perform procedures up to ten times faster than traditional lasers and with active cooling in the hand-pieces, the sensation of IPL is far less intense.

The IPL is an adaptation of the laser, more suited to the beauty industry.  The biggest difference between laser and IPL, as far as treatment is concerned, is the coverage. The laser beam is very narrow, only covering a small spot at a time, while IPL coverage is several times the area, and therefore treatments are much quicker.

Lasers produce light from one specific wavelength, or color, for a very specific target.  The light emitted from the IPL is composed of a spectrum of colors from different wavelengths, enabling selective photo-absorption (light absorption) to different targets.  In other words, using the IPL is like using a group of lasers in a single treatment.

    • What is the difference between Vacuum Rolling and liposuction? Can it be used instead of liposuction?

Vacuum Rolling, does not involve breaking through the skin in any way. Liposuction is a surgical procedure that involves risk and complications. Vacuum Rolling is useful for cellulite reduction, and body contouring to help improve your appearance. Some people try Vacuum Rolling first and then choose to wait to receive liposuction. Some choose to receive both as part of a duel treatment to their problem. Vacuum Rolling is being used and studied by some of the most well known practitioners of liposuction in the world.

  • mCryo2
    • What is the main difference compared to other procedures?

The Cryolipolysis treatment results in a notable and natural reduction of fat tissue, avoiding the traumatic experience of invasive methods (liposuction), and the risk of damage to surrounding tissue. It is different to other non-invasive laser lipo offerings that use lasers (like I-Lipo, Strawberry and Laser Lipo) Cryolipolysis, physically destroys the fat cell, and no course of treatment is required as in these other laser based treatments. No exercise is required for the treatment to get results and the results are permanent.

The results are not as fast or as dramatic as invasive procedures like liposuction or tummy tuck. But Fat Freezing is an effective alternative for those wanting to avoid the higher cost, pain, risk, and recovery time associated with surgery.

    • What is Ultrasound Fat Cavitation?

Ultrasound Liposuction (ultrasonic cavitation) is a new, revolutionary fat removal technique using targeted Ultrasound waves that melt fat into fatty acids safely and allow them to be processed by the normal body’s process.

  • mHIFU
    • What problem areas does HIFU target? What results can be expected?

HIFU addresses mild to moderate loose or sagging skin on the face and neck and under the chin, specifically by reconditioning and renewing the collagen underlying the skin.  HIFU can lift the brow, which in turn reduces excess skin on the lids, opens up the eyes, and gives a more refreshed look overall.

  • 3D Fractional
    • What does 3D Fractional Radio Frequency Offer?
      • Skin Tightening
      • Lifting
      • Firming
      • Rejuvenation

The 3D Radio Frequency energy penetrates the skin layers to selectively heat the skin tissue and the extra cellular matrix where the collagen fibres are embedded. The localised heating causes an immediate contraction of collagen fibres, and at the same time increases the metabolism of the fibroblasts thereby accelerating the production of new collagen and elastin fibres.

The concentration of collagen fibres and the regeneration of the collagen and elastin deposits, tighten the skin layers creating a smoother, healthier and younger looking skin.
